I was greatly enjoying my Sunday, when I realized that I needed to attend an event at 2pm that was not really on my list of things I wanted to do that day.

As it was, I had lots of work to do around the house, plus I wanted to spend a little time relaxing.

Yet, at 1:45, I grabbed my coat, got in the car, and went to the event.

In all fairness, I had a great time. It was an enlightening and inspirational event that also was very relaxing, and I felt good that I attended and added one more person to the event.

I recently went to a concert by Poi Dog Pondering; this was my second time seeing the band.

Poi Dog Pondering is a great band with a rather interesting following. The music and vocals are amazing, and I frequently listen to their music in the car and while running.

When we heard that they were doing a concert locally in a small venue,  we instantly purchased tickets.

The show was on a Thursday night and with a busy work schedule and upcoming travel, I was not exactly thrilled about attending and staying up late to attend.

The last four weeks have been the busiest of the year and, although I am just one rep out of eighteen, I have sent out over 5,000 high impact dimensional mailers in recent weeks.

Is this a sign of an economic recovery, a reinvestment in high-end marketing campaigns that deliver high-end results, a year-end revenue push or just a one time event?

I would like to believe it is the reinvestment in marketing campaigns.

Monday was a nice and peaceful night and as I was shutting down for the evening I was alarmed by a very odd and loud noise coming from my 3-year-old refrigerator. What followed the next few days was a great lesson in marketing and sales.

We started out Tuesday morning by opening a 50 degree fridge with water in the ice-cube trays. Typically not a good sign. I took the service approach and did a search online for repair.
